Dear Pastor Menacher:

I am in receipt of your correspondence of complaint against Professor Michael Root in relation to Called to Common Mission. I suggest that you take this matter to Professor Root directly.

The 1999 ELCA Churchwide Assembly voted by more than 2/3 to approve and implement Full Communion with the Episcopal Church USA. Your argument is not compelling to all scholars or to the entire Lutheran communion.

As to your two questions: I am aware of no deviation in a search process. The Association of Theological Schools, 10 Summit Park Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15275, accredits Trinity Lutheran Seminary.
